A Quick Visit to a Neighbor’s Hill Chicken Farm | Poultry Farming

Today’s video shares a quick visit to a neighbor’s hill chicken farm in rural Vietnam. After finishing our morning work at Lap Le Hill Farm, we went to visit a nearby farm to learn more from an experienced farmer and see how chicken houses are built across the mountain hills. This farm has many chicken houses spread across different areas of the hillside. Some houses raise thousands of black chickens, while others raise Lac Thuy chickens. Because the farm is located on the hills and surrounded by trees, the chicken houses are not all visible in one view, but the whole model shows a larger and more organized style of poultry farming. During the visit, we saw brooder houses, hill chicken houses, automatic feeding and drinking systems, and many chickens being raised in different areas. These automatic systems help save labor costs and make daily poultry farming work easier when managing many flocks. Besides chickens, the farm also raises pigeons, hedgehogs, and wild boars, making the visit more interesting and showing a wider farm model in the countryside. We also walked around the farm, visited a small garden outside the chicken coops, saw a fish pond fed by a natural stream, and went higher up the mountain to see more farm areas. This quick visit gave us a chance to observe how a larger hill farm manages animals, land, and daily work. It was not a full detailed tour, but it gave us a real look at another way of doing poultry farming in rural Vietnam. On the way home, we met two adorable cows, a peaceful ending to our farm visit.
