One bed – results of succession and interplantings all year

See how many different vegetables you can grow in a few months in one bed of 1.2 x 2.1m, 4 x 7 feet. . We filmed four times between early spring and late autumn, for two harvests either end and four successive harvests from the middle part of the bed. This is without using any fertiliser, and I add no compost for new plantings. The bed is no dig, and had 60 litres/14 gallons wool compost (Dalefoot https://www.dalefootcomposts.co.uk/ou...) on top in October preceding. Zone 8 climate but summer is 20'sC 70'sF, and our high latitude of 51N means long days in summer. To maintain this level of cropping, it helps to use transplants rather than direct sowing, see my propagation video    • Propagation: germinate, grow and plant see...   I detail the plantings on this bed in a module of my no dig online course https://charlesdowding.co.uk/product/... I apologise for misremembering one of the previous dates of filming :) and hope you enjoy seeing the successions. Filmed at Homeacres, Somerset UK through 2019 by David Adams.
