This segment explores the role of Shalamar's Jeffrey Daniel and the role he played in bringing street dance to the UK and Europe. JD's performances on Top Of The Pops included the first ever backslide in the UK - a move later renamed the moonwalk by Michael Jackson (JD mentored and taught MJ many moves and styles).
