Fire Emblem: Dart's Journey
Requested by Carstea Florentin Sorry for the late upload, school assignments can get really annoying sometimes. Ah.. Dart. Feels like a enhanced Bartre at first, feeling kinda slow but dealing painful hits... if they actually hit. However, with proper training, he is one of the overall strongest characters in the series, due to the fact that he can become a berserker once promoted. Why is Dart one of the strongest characters? 1. A berserker has the highest maximum offensive stats (STR/SKL/SPD) for a promoted unit. The only thing I don't get is why they have that insane SPD cap while being so big and muscular. Their only downside is their low maximum defensive stats, but who needs them if Dart has that insane SPD and CON, he is just like a swordmaster without having weight issues. 2. Not only their maximum offensive stats, they are able to climb mountains with ease, and are able to navigate through cliffs and water terrains. This allows players to ambush/escape any attackers of different classes if these terrains are nearby. The best part is that these terrains give decent defense/avoid bonuses, which none other than berserkers have access to. 3. Enhanced Axe mastery. Swordmasters are known for their insane critical rates, but I ain't afraid of them unless they appear in the arena. Berserkers, on the other hand, are much scarier, as axes (and the wielder themselves) have higher Might. 1 critical is enough for you to restart the chapter. Other than Hector or a general, I have never seen anyone who can tank a Berserker's critical, try HHM chapter 32x and you will know why it's the final gaiden chapter. 4. Last but not least, his affinity and supports. Dart himself has a fire affinity, along with Rebecca, one of his supports. That's 2 fire type. He can be quite versatile with the last though. I actually gave him a slight handicap by not giving him any extra might, so I chose Geitz (Thunder), yet he can still do more damage while having higher critical rates compared to the overpowered Nino, who also faces weight issues from using stronger tomes. With the above advantages, Dart is definitely a must-train character. If you can bear with his initial low skill and speed (miss fest) and you will have an easy time later. I don't even need to review on the difficulty in this video, the berserker class makes it easy.
