Very slow, extremely slow, slower than you would imagine this is what takes some experimentation but it gives you such a light anchor with a heavy fly and it jumps right off the rod if there is a proper power application with the bottom and top hand and the proper casting length, the proper casting stroke length, you will soon be the best caster you know
