These Pools Are A LIMINAL Dream Come True… | Unending Aqua

I played the Unending Aqua demo and it genuinely feels like a liminal pools experience dream come true—the kind of game you hope exists if you’re into poolrooms and atmospheric horror. Set inside the eerie, abandoned Sublime Wave Resort, the game drops you into massive poolrooms, underwater corridors, and forgotten maintenance tunnels that feel equal parts beautiful and unsettling. It nails that dreamlike, liminal atmosphere perfectly while still giving you enough gameplay and exploration to keep pushing forward. What surprised me most is how much I didn’t want it to end. A lot of games in this genre lean too heavily on visuals alone, but Unending Aqua actually builds curiosity through its environment, subtle storytelling, and sense of mystery. The demo is short, but it leaves a strong impression and honestly just makes you want the full game immediately. If you’re into: Poolrooms / liminal space horror Backrooms-style exploration games Atmospheric indie horror Dreamcore environments Slow-burn psychological tension …this one is absolutely worth checking out. Let me know what you thought of the demo and if you’d want a full playthrough when the game releases. ⸻ Game: Unending Aqua Genre: Liminal space / psychological horror / exploration Platform: PC
