Aggression and resistance to arrest During the approach, the buyer confessed to the police that he had just purchased crack rocks. More portions of the same substance, money, and a cell phone were found with the other suspect. Upon being given the order to surrender, the man reacted violently, assaulting the officers and attempting to remove their weapons from their holsters. The police officers had to use necessary force to subdue the aggressor, at which point residents tried to intervene. The situation was brought under control after the arrival of other patrol cars for backup. The suspect was taken to the police station, where he remained at the disposal of the Justice system for drug trafficking. The buyer was questioned by the authorities and subsequently released.
