Wingfoil: How to one handed rodeo start

Personally I wish I'd known about this start when I started wingfoiling but it doesn't seem to be something I've seen anyone recommending. It's pretty much the only way I start anymore, unless I have to Stinkbug really small boards. 1. Sit on your board in rodeo position (like a surfer waiting in the lineup), this allows you great stability and the ability to control your board direction easily by swirling your feet. 2. Orient your board perpendicular to the wind 3. Grab the front handle with your back (downwind) hand and fly the wing downwind of you, this gets the wing flying and can even allow you some forward motion to help stabilize 4. Place your front (upwind) hand in the middle of the deck of your board and use it to balance while your lean forward and lift your toes on to the rail of your board 5. Use you front hand and toes to lift your knees on to the board 6. Grab the front handle of your wing with your front hand 7. Swap your back hand from the front handle of the wing to the back handle of the wing If you have a middle handle on the wing (or a boom, or a long front handle) you can also fly the wing from there and use it to help raise your weight on to the board.
