Today, it is mid-June we are walking through the gardens for a detailed look at how it is doing in early summer. It is an amazing time in the gardens, as everything is leafed out, nothing has been cut back, a lot is in bloom, and the grass is still green! During this time we can see how the foliage colors and textures come together with blooms to create a beautiful display. We’re talking about what is in bloom, such as spireas, salvias, penstemons, nepeta, clematis, and roses. Plus, what needs work and what is yet to come!
