Apple iMac G3 - DVD drive Issues

Welcome to the Tech Dept. Today I'm looking at my iMac G3, Ruby. Ruby is a Summer 2000 DV+ iMac, and she has an issue with her DVD drive, She doesn't want to give the disc back. Chances are the 22-year-old belt is a little on the weak side, so let's get inside and see if it can be fixed.
