There are various opinions, such as some that it's easier to have a diagnosis, some that it's better not to have a diagnosis, and views on the gray area, but I think it's important to understand and respect each other, including all of those. Also, since developmental disorders often occur together, the terms introduced here can apply not only to ADHD but also to developmental disorders in general, such as ASD. Also, vague expressions like "this" and "that" can be difficult to understand, regardless of developmental disorder! So, it's easier to make others understand if you talk in concrete terms, such as how many pieces there are.
