GTT is delivering 32 new homes across 16 Western Sydney sites for Homes NSW demonstrating how advanced manufacturing and offsite construction can help Australia deliver quality housing faster, with greater precision and certainty. At GTT’s advanced manufacturing facility in Orange, NSW, digital building files are transformed into precision-engineered wall, floor and ceiling systems using automated CNC machinery. Up to 70% of the building scope can be completed indoors before the components leave the factory. This allows manufacturing to continue regardless of rain, frost or other weather conditions that can delay traditional construction programs. Once delivered to site, GTT’s Kit-of-Parts is installed by trained building and crane crews following a detailed and repeatable installation sequence. The result is not rushed construction. It is compressed construction, because the design coordination, engineering, manufacturing and installation planning have been completed before work begins onsite.
