⚾ Baseball Card GM Review: A few weeks ago, I was contacted about trying out a new baseball board game called Baseball Card GM. The twist? It was invented by an 8-year-old baseball fan who loves his baseball cards. They sent us a copy to try out with the family and asked for an honest review. So we played it. And we were blown away. Unlike most baseball board games, Baseball Card GM lets you use your actual baseball cards in gameplay. The stats printed on the back of the card from the previous season are built directly into the mechanics of the game. That means your common cards, your forgotten players, and even the dusty boxes in the closet may suddenly matter again. We played this as a family, and it was a huge hit. Not only was it fun and surprisingly realistic to the game of baseball itself, it encouraged my kids to flip over their cards and actually read the backs. Batting averages. Stolen Bases. Home runs.
