ROAR wraps up our two-part interview with jungle originator KENNY KEN, bringing you yet another fascinating insight into the history of a genre currently undergoing an exciting resurgence. First harking back to the ‘90s, Kenny - AKA KEN DELSOL - talks about the 1994 split between jungle and hardcore and how jungle found massive worldwide success after it morphed into what we know as drum and bass - but admits the scene has had issues with “two faced” people. Kenny also tells how he hung up his raving boots in the mid-2000s to focus on his career, including producing, which he says he’s been perfecting during lockdown - so watch out world!
