NATIONALIST PARTIES ARE DISINTEGRATING: In the FoşikCast Turkish podcast's current affairs video, I discussed why two nationalist parties in Türkiye, the Victory Party and the Good Party (İYİ Party), are losing members and failing to achieve the expected surge in votes, despite the rising global wave of nationalism and the influence of this new urban nationalism on Turkish youth. I also examined why two leaders, Ümit Özdağ and Musavat Dervişoğlu, are still focused on crossing the electoral threshold instead of playing a leading role in the opposition. I analyzed the mistakes made by the Victory Party and the Good Party, particularly in terms of propaganda, appealing to young people, and organizational structure. Of course, the CHP and AKP exert considerable pressure on these two nationalist parties, that's true, but the spirit of the times favors these parties, so the failure to reach the expected percentage and the significant loss of members cannot be explained solely by this pressure. The vote percentages in 2025 show that the situation is actually turning negative for both parties. Because parties that should be experiencing a surge are at most stagnating. My aim is not to undermine the IYI Party and the Victory Party, but quite the opposite: to highlight their mistakes and help them achieve even greater success.
