300km Electric Velomobile Camping Trip - Cycling to Christchurch and back with electric assist

Until this ride the most I had ever ridden in my velomobile was 257km. This time I set out not only to ride even further, but also to take along a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, sleeping bag liner, repair kit, cameras, tripod, camera mounts and food and water. Assuming I would make it to my destination, Christchurch, I would have to bike back only two days later. I had no idea whether I could really even do this. I took my velomobile for a test run the day before, and it seemed like it would be possible. So I packed my velomobile and set out.
