I realized I'd been bouncing between tasks for too long—the facade, the balcony, the windows, and the interior. So, in this episode, I decided to focus and finish the house's most problematic wall—the one that had been leaking for years. At one point, I just lost it and covered the entire wall with waterproofing to finally stop the moisture and protect the house before winter. Also, winter in Portugal turned out to be not as warm as many people think. We ran out of firewood at the worst possible moment, and I had to urgently order two cubic meters of firewood to keep warm in the old house. Plus, a little beauty and a breather—shots from Serra da Estrela, the highest point in mainland Portugal: water, mountains, fog, and a real autumn.
