A soldier from the Military Emergency Unit (UME) has posted a devastating video on social media showing the state of the town of Palacios de Jamuz (León) after it was engulfed by flames. "This is the first time an entire town has burned down," the soldier stated. The spread of the fire in the province of León, caused by the blaze that started in Molezuelas de la Carballeda (Zamora), has led to the evacuation of residents in several towns.
