New Roots 2026 Act 9 The Rookery

The Rookery is a North-East based folk trio consisting of Eleanor Kerr, Poppy Bedford and Emma Doenges. With all three singing and playing a plethora of instruments including fiddle, guitar, banjo, and bodhran, they perform songs both traditional and self-penned with an aim to tell stories and conjure images of the past. And birds. Birds are a must have. They have recently performed at the New Roots Final, Richmond Mayfest and The Cluny and are looking forward to the gigs they have lined up over the coming months.
