How to Scan with Markers (Coffee Cup & Rainwater Hopper Example) (Creality Otter Lite)

In this video, I demonstrate how to use marker tracking with the Creality Otter Lite 3D Scanner. Instead of relying on the object’s features, I explain how the global marker method works and show two real examples: • Coffee cup scan – using decoy objects with markers placed around the cup • Rainwater hopper scan – applying marker dots directly to the surface Marker tracking is a great solution when scanning featureless or smooth objects, helping the scanner maintain accurate tracking throughout the process. This approach is especially useful for creating reliable 3D models for printing, CAD design, and reverse engineering.
