Credit to Mark Robens for the Poor Unfortunate Souls instrumental remake!! I got a request to do Poor Unfortunate Souls and Rotten to the Core, which I'm still going to do, but in the meanwhile, I got sidetracked and ended up with this first. This kind of reminds me of Mal and Uma's past together from before either of them ever left the Isle, when they were best friends and causing mayhem in the streets together so often. They both have leader-like personalities, which eventually made them butt heads and later separate, but this moreso reflects a time before that, when things were confusing and hard, but they still had each other, and they did what they thought was right in order to survive. That... got deep, but that's the vision I had for this ;; Happy things come to them in due time, of course!! Honestly, these two songs don't get enough attention. I'm really glad they're on the Descendants 2 soundtrack, though!! And I love the revamp of Evil they did; it sounds so wonderful??
