🌋 The only active volcano in Ukraine, unique finds of mammoths and a woolly rhinoceros, a park of the history of the Earth and the first underground basilica of the UGCC with a 25-meter cross - and all this in one place in the Carpathian Mountains. This is not a museum or a fiction - this is the village of Starunya, Bogorodchansky district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. This is where the Starunsky mud volcano is located - a living geological system with active craters. And more than 100 years ago, during ozokerite mining in this area, extremely well-preserved naturally embalmed carcasses of mammoths, a woolly rhinoceros and other animals of the Ice Age were found. Near Starunya, in the village of Pidhiria, Bogorodchansky district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, it was because of these unique finds that the Earth History Park was created - a space where you can see animals, walk through different eras of the planet's development, visit the Museum of Civilizations and simply spend a whole day with pleasure. Also in this video I will show the first and only underground basilica of the UGCC in Ukraine - the Vacation Center of Blessed Simeon Lukach, opened in the village of Starunya quite recently.
