55L AMAZON TOP BOX ON THE TRANSALP!
In this video, I showcase the installation and provide a comprehensive review of the budget 55L aluminum top box from Amazon, specifically designed for motorcycles like my Honda Transalp 750. This top box, with its universal design, is not only easy to install on a variety of motorcycles but also offers a practical and adaptable solution for your storage needs. Crafted from durable aluminum, it ensures excellent protection for your belongings during adventure rides. The 55L capacity is more than enough to accommodate all your essentials. Additionally, I share some valuable tips on essential items to pack for your adventure rides. (P.S. This video isn't sponsored, despite what Grammarly might make it sound like, haha) Link to the product shown: Grunt Sports 55L Motorcycle Top Case - LINK IS BROKEN! It's crucial to note that many companies are selling these 55L top cases with varying manufacturing standards. Therefore, I can only vouch for the quality and fitment of my model. I strongly advise you to read reviews and conduct thorough research before making a purchase, especially if you're considering a different model. This will ensure you get the best product that suits your needs and preferences. Tools required: 10MM deep well socket, Ratchet wrench, 4.5MM Allen key (included) / Allen socket, 9/32" drill bit / Step drill bit (If the box mount doesn't have a slot that fits). Note for installation on Transalp 750: The mounting holes closest to the front of the bike will not work with the supplied "W" washers. I recommend getting stainless steel bolts slightly longer than the short ones provided but not as long as the longer ones. Use a stainless steel washer between the factory Transalp rack and the nut to ensure you don't damage the rack. Use a nylon locking nut or medium-strength thread locker to prevent vibrations from loosening the nut.
