The final countdown, Europe - instrumental cover - Yamaha PSR-sx 700, Korg Nautilus, Roland Zenology

My second cover of a great 80s hit: "The final countdown", by Europe, a famous swedish rock band. I recorded my first cover of this great song two years ago, just using my Yamaha PSR-sx 700 arranger with a beautiful style by Pro Style Music and simply creating several custom Yamaha registrations in order to play it my way. Now I tried to play it searching a more realistic sound. I used the same PSR-sx 700 style, but I added to my setup a Korg Nautilus workstation and the Roland Cloud Zenology software synthesizer. In this way I could use the STAB BRASS preset provided by a software version of the Roland JX-8P keyboard, which was used by the Europe keyboardist in this song: hearing the result gave me wonderful sensations! Moreover, I used some Yamaha PSR-sx 700 tones to play verses and some other Zenology and Nautilus tones in other parts of the song. Furthermore, I created and used a custom audio multipad containing the Europe voices, triggering pads when playing the first E chords after some registration switches. Finally, in order to play the lead guitar solo part in a more realistic way, I combined two Nautilus guitar tones, to which I applied some internal Nautilus distortion effects and the Ableton Live Heavy Tube effect (I routed only Nautilus guitar tones to a dedicated Ableton track, using the Nautilus assignable 1/2 outputs, so that other Nautilus sounds were not distorted). It needed a lot of work and I hope you will enjoy it and subscribe to my channel for more and more videos and musical tips. #yamahapsr #yamahapsrsx700 #psrsx700 #nautilus #roland #korg #europe #thefinalcountdown #rock #80s
