This episode's guest, Pastor Hsia Chung-Chien, is the child of a preacher (PK). He once questioned his faith until he was moved by scripture during his freshman year of college, which allowed him to truly touch God and dedicate himself fully. Born in Penghu, he grew up in an orphanage on the main island of Taiwan due to harsh conditions. This experience, however, became a blessing from God, shaping him into a resilient figure capable of connecting churches. After joining Campus Crusade in 1974, Pastor Hsia became the general director of the "I've Found It" evangelistic movement, a large-scale joint ministry in Taiwan, at the age of 25. Through innovative and suspenseful advertising, he swept across Taiwan, successfully driving a wave of church evangelism. Subsequently, he became the executive pastor of Taipei Bread of Life Church, and in 1990, he resolutely answered the call to dedicate himself to promoting the "2000 AD Evangelistic Movement." Pastor Xia pointed out that although the movement did not achieve its initial numerical goals, it acted as a "unifying agent," closely intertwining with the small group movement, worship and praise movement, and charismatic renewal movement that emerged in the 1990s. Together, they blessed the development of the Taiwanese church in God's hands and laid the foundation for its unity.
