Alright, this one was really cool to dig into. In this video I’m reacting to “Blazing Halo” by Lovebites, and what really stood out to me on this track is the rhythm section — especially the bass. The groove feels really solid the whole way through, and it makes sense once you know the song was written by their bassist Fami along with composer Mao. You can hear that influence right away. The bass isn’t just sitting underneath everything — it’s moving, pushing the song forward, and adding a lot of weight to the overall feel. There are some really nice moments where the bass locks in with the drums and gives the whole track this driving momentum. I always enjoy when a band lets the low end breathe a little, and this track definitely has that going for it. It keeps things tight, heavy, and energetic without feeling cluttered.
