Hi hi Suellies! Here I am working up a sweat (over the fryer) making this delicious display of crispy onion rings, tater tots, and corn dog. It feels like we are at a carnival or a food festival down in the deep south 😂 I wouldn't personally know. Just sitting here imagining what deep fried butter must taste like. If you are from outside the US, there is indeed deep fried butter in existence. You may ask, "How do you fry up butter without it oozing all over into the boiling vat of oil?" Well, it's simple, sweeeeeeetie! (*apply southern drawl) From the copious hours of Food Network binging, which I will simply designate as my childhood, I learned that you dip a large cube of (cold?) butter into a thick flour batter coating before deep-frying it to "golden brown and delicious". Sprinkle it with some powdered sugar or, in my case, garlic and parsley (I'm a savory girl) and dig in. **Warning: Please have a strong person nearby to catch as you faint from the sheer preposterous nature of American cuisine. I know - it sounds crazy and a little (a lot?) gross to have fat fried in even more fat. However, I have heard that food stall sellers make a lot of dough selling these creations. So, deep-fried butter must taste nice?
