Escursione Wild, incontri e panorami mozzafiato, RIFUGIO PARPINASCA - VAL D'OSSOLA

May 31, 2025 Today's hike starts from Trontano (520 m), a municipality in the heart of the Ossola Valley at the gateway to the Vigezzo Valley. We follow a scenic initial stretch through some beautiful hamlets, heading towards the ancient mills of the Rio Graglia, before continuing uphill towards Alpe Briasca. From here, we continue towards the refuge, following a rather wild trail, immersed in the most authentic nature. At the refuge, we take a break, enjoying a dessert and chatting with Sara and Giordano, members of the couloir. An unexpected encounter that pleasantly surprised us, reminding us how much the mountains can offer shared moments. For the return journey, we choose the most popular trail that passes in front of the refuge, crossing some mountain pastures that lead us back to the starting point.
