Exploring the Final Stretch of This Disused Railway
The Island Railway to the Coast - Newport to Sandown Part 2 - Isle of Wight's Railways. In this much shorter Part 2 of our journey, we pick up precisely where we left off in the previous installment, Part 1. We will be continuing our exploration of the disused railway line just beyond the area known as Horringford. Our route will then proceed for the final approximately three miles of this particular section of track. Along the way, we will be passing through the charming locations of Newchurch, Alverstone, and finally arriving at our destination, the seaside town of Sandown. Join us for this final leg of the expedition as we uncover the remnants of this historic railway. #disused #railway #isle #wight
