10/17/15: The New York Mets started the 2015 National League Championship Series out strong by beating the Chicago Cubs 4-2 in Game 1 at Citi Field. Matt Harvey struck out nine batters and limited the Cubs to two runs over 7.2 innngs pitched. Daniel Murphy and Travis d'Arnaud each hit solo home runs, while Curtis Granderson drove in two runs on a single and sacrifice fly. The Mets would go on to sweep the Cubs and head to the World Series.
