EL TORREON DE BEJAR-CALVITERO-CANCHAL DE LA CEJA-SIERRA DE BEJAR We go up from Béjar and then to the beautiful town of Candelario, from here we will go up to the Travieso platform, the upper one, since you will find an intermediate platform. From here we spent the night, with a lot of wind. The next day we make the ascent from the platform without climbing the mountain rope, towards Hoya Moros, then we will climb towards the Canchal de la Ceja, and then skirt it towards the Torreón de Béjar or Calvitero. In this part the views of this Sierra are beautiful, with the Laguna de Duque area on the left side of our advance and Hoya Moors on the right, we advance with the climb down, until we reach the Trango del Diablo area, El Paso del Diablo where we must take extreme precautions before a step that although it is not difficult and is equipped with chains, we must be attentive depending on the circumstances we go through. Once we have passed this section, we will be within walking distance of the highest peak in Cáceres, Pico Torreón, at 2,400 meters.
