DNB Kick Design with AD2 & Kick 2 - Drum and Bass Tutorial in Ableton Live 11 #51

Hello and welcome back to the DNB basics series! In this instalment, we'll be covering fundamental Kick Drum design techniques. Including; Layering from a drum synth and a high-quality drum sampler to ensure that your kick drums not only sound realistic but pack a punch in the club. Focusing on where particular frequencies are sitting when layering. And, we’ll process the kick with a mixture of dynamics processing such as clipping, EQ for tone and, of course, some distortion to give our kick character.
