This Friday, June 26, in a solemn session held at the Peruvian Medical Association, the National Elections Board (JNE) officially presented credentials to the elected members of parliament for the 2026-2031 legislative period. The ceremony was presided over by the president of the JNE, Roberto Burneo, and the full board of this electoral body. Also present were the head of the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec), Carmen Velarde; the Ombudsman, Josué Gutiérrez; and other authorities.
