SURENDETTÉE, elle retourne chez sa mère et doit dormir avec son fils !

"A LIFE ON CREDIT" / Céline, Alain, and Jean-François are strangled by loans they can't repay. Their over-indebtedness cases will be judged in court. Céline, a mother, was evicted from her apartment. She now lives with her mother. Unemployed, she receives €755 each month. But she has €8,000 in unpaid rent. How can she repay it? Bernadette and Jean-François, special needs educators, owe €225,000. This includes real estate debt, but also numerous consumer loans taken out over ten years. They hope for partial forgiveness of their debt. Will they win their case? In court, the debt is forgiven in one out of two cases. Alain, 53, has a permanent contract. His debt is his house, which has lost half its value in fifteen years. Alain owes €294,000 (mortgage and interest). Will he avoid having his house repossessed and sold at auction? All these over-indebtedness cases will be decided in court, and down to the last cent. In France, almost one in two cases leads to debt forgiveness, representing €1.7 billion each year. #documentary #society #reportage A documentary by Thomas RAGUET First broadcast: 2018 🟠 Subscribe to 100% Conso    / @100conso   🟠 Produced by CAPA Presse 🟠 Welcome to 100% Conso, THE channel dedicated to social reports and documentaries!
