Is the Emirates Cable Car Worth It? | London Travel Guide // Going on the Air Line is certainly fun and a very unique thing to do in London so I recommend trying it out for at least one journey. After all the Emirates Cable Car tickets are a couple of pounds. The Emirates Cable Car route is from the Greenwich Peninsula to the Royal Docks. Emirates Cable Car view does give a different perspective of the city being over to the south-east of London. The cable car trip takes approximately 10 minutes. However, during peak times (7am to 9am Monday to Friday) the journey takes roughly five minutes.
