LED Light Up Android Custom Blythe Doll - Carving, Repaint, and 3D Printing Costume

I made this custom blythe doll for a competition called Blythe Vs Blythe 10 and the theme was “The Future of Blythe”. When I envisioned “The Future of Blythe”, I thought about what features and fashion she might have. Her eyes would change at the press of a button. She would be fashionable. And she’d definitely be tech enabled. So I decided to make a LED light up android doll. I would like to introduce you to Alis-01 or Allison after her namesake Allison Katzman. I figured this is just her creation, but new and Allison deserves the credit. Her base doll is a Casual Affair. Her eyes are backlit with two small LED screens controlled by an arduino. Her headpieces come off and disconnect easily so she can still wear “vintage fashions”. My wife and I made and wired everything on this doll, except for her base boot. I hope you all love her!
