Museo del Tesoro della Basilica di San Francesco: cammino congiunto per la valorizzazione

On Wednesday 2 July 2025, the renewal of the agreement for the joint enhancement of the Museum of the Treasury of the Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi was signed by the director of the National Museums of Perugia - Regional Directorate of the National Museums of Umbria, Costantino D'Orazio, by the legal representative of the Custody and by the Custodian of the Sacred Convent of San Francesco in Assisi of the Friars Minor Conventual, respectively Brother Mario Cisotto, OFMConv, and Brother Marco Giuseppe Moroni, OFMConv. In an important three-year period, such as 2024-2027, which sees the celebration of the Franciscan centenaries at the center of the national cultural program, with the great event of the eight hundredth anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi in 2026, the two entities intend to collaborate in a decisive manner with exhibition projects, and, in general, with enhancement, promotion, study and research activities.
