He firstly enjoys some very violinistic broken chord figurations, and then, at a whim, crashes into a quasi-dramatic section with some deliberately overinflated chords and extrovert runs. The spontaneity works perfectly, of course. How fitting to follow with a fugue of such ebullience, joy, energy and utterly irresistible rhythmic momentum.
