The Importance of Women’s Participation in Peace Processes and Conflict Resolution in Nigeria
Three inspirational women at the forefront of conflict resolution at community and national levels in Nigeria tell us why women’s inclusion in peace processes is critical This video was produced by UN Women Nigeria in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, with support from the joint EU-UN Spotlight Initiative, the UN Peacebuilding Fund, and the Government of Italy. The video was produced under the Generation Equality Campaign, which demands equal pay, equal sharing of unpaid care and domestic work, an end to sexual harassment and all forms of violence against women and girls, health-care services that respond to their needs, and their equal participation in political life and decision-making in all areas of life.
