🌴 Okinawa Family Trip Finale 🌴 The day after the typhoon passed, we woke up to an incredibly clear sky over Okinawa. The wind was still strong, but the beautiful weather made it hard to believe a typhoon had just been there. After enjoying a hearty hotel breakfast, we headed to Kokusai Street, one of Okinawa's must-visit destinations. We cooled off with Blue Seal ice cream, had a delicious gyukatsu lunch at a famous local restaurant, and shopped for souvenirs. Next, we visited Umikaji Terrace. With stunning blue skies and ocean views, we discovered the best dessert of our trip—a delicious strawberry bingsu that we'll never forget. We grabbed an iced coffee and returned to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon. Back at the hotel, we sorted out an unexpected parking fee issue before picking up some Orion beer from the hotel shop. We spent our final evening relaxing in our room. Sally went for one last swim with Dad while I stayed behind and enjoyed a quiet evening. The next morning, after our final hotel breakfast, we checked out, returned the rental car, enjoyed one last shopping trip at the airport, and flew back home.
