I bought a junk N-gauge KTATO EF58. It moved to the right but not to the left, and the motor was making a loud noise. When I checked it out, it had the same symptoms and was not running properly. I took it apart and looked inside and found that the gears were badly worn, one of them had no teeth and the motor was running freely. To fix it, I simply replaced it with the same new gear, but since it has been a long time since it was released, it is difficult to obtain spare parts, so I have to make it myself or transplant parts from another junk car. Making your own gears requires a lot of precision to turn properly, but I managed to make a gear that worked, so it can run. I used silicone Blue Mix to make the mold and Pla Repair for molding.
