How Did I Play It? Stupidity for All (Drum Breakdown) | Terror Syndrome Episode #7

This week’s episode goes FAST, chaotic, and stupid heavy on the kit with “Stupidity for All” by Terror Syndrome. Terror Syndrome was the solo album I released back in 2008. I wrote the entire record musically, produced it, financed it, brought in some amazing guest musicians, and even had Devin Townsend mix the album. Still super proud of that record, and there’s some seriously fun drumming all over it. “Stupidity for All” has definitely become a fan fav over the years. A lot of you requested a breakdown of the midsection where I play a grinding double bass groove followed by a totally whacky cymbal pattern using the bell of my ride and my 9” Sabian Cymbals Radia Chime. Super fun section to play! In this episode I break it all down step-by-step: Slowed down so you can really see what’s happening Then back up to full tempo with the track Hope you guys dig this heavy one! Appreciate all the support — it truly means everything. Drop your request for next week’s episode in the comments! All the best, RVP
