How To Pro Hop: Everything You Need To Know

In today's video I teach you how to pro hop. http://ballerbootcamp.com/bne -- Join the ELITES! The pro hop can be broken down in a few short sentences. The first thing you must keep in mind that the timing of your last dribble is very important in order to be able to cover the most ground possible. You want to slam the ball and jump off the opposite foot at the same time. Something that's not covered in the video is that it's good to gather as well so that you can really change directions. Once you're in the air make sure to rip the ball over high and turn your shoulders to shield the ball away from the defender. Finally, the last part of the pro hop is to land with your feet at the same time. If you do that correctly you won't get called for a travel and you now can pivot with either foot.
