The FALL: Psychology of the EGO and The Self
In this video, I will explore the psychology of the subjective and objective nature of consciousness. The EGO and Self are terms used by Carl Jung to grasp the reality of the psyche... a space which still stumps scientists today. Most individuals, whether it is the scientist or the seeker, becomes fixated on the EGO and its world in creation. BUT, the other side, the spirit which provides life its life, is left for the few. These are the mystics, philosophers, spiritual and religious types. Those who do not "fit in the system of the world". So, I took a solo trip for a week into the wilderness in Maine (Acadia National Park) in order to put thoughts down on the reality of consciousness. The duality and its oneness. The whole that it is. In this video I'll explore the Jungian terms, EGO and Self, as well as the complexes and archetypes consciousness orders itself through. We'll also look at the 'medium' who is affected by the Self and EGO, as well as affects the EGO. Finally, I'll explain why a fall for the EGO, and not DEATH, is the way to any sense of awakening or enlightenment. At the end of the video, I'm curious to your answer to this question... Is the structure of our world providing consciousness the means to unfold its innate intelligence, that same intelligence in us all that gives life its life? All support is appreciated. ________________________________ CHAPTERS Introduction 00:00 EGO & Self 05:23 Complex & Archetype 15:34 1 + 2 = 3 36:14 The Fall 44:25 ________________________________ Music 1+2=3 Introduction Created by Armando (Instagram @78armzu) #consciousness #philosophy #carljung #psychology #collectiveunconscious #egoconsciousness #knowthyself #innerwork #archetypes #jungianpsychology
