Bill Pierce, absolutely fantastic trombone player:    • Bill Pearce Trombone solo ''You Needed Me''   I'm playing a Martin Committee #2 bore (medium bore) and an Adams A4LT; .461 bore, Red Brass Bell, .45 gauge. Ok, in my vid I begin with a Patrick CR5Z, which I've opened up to a 26 drill size (one larger than the standard 27 [and this mouthpiece came with a 28 drill - pretty tight]). I then go to a Deep V, small trumpet/flugel mouthpiece, Trent Austin's great TA-TF piece. Lastly I use a Warburton 6MD with a Curry #10 backbore. Individual clips below...
