Hemos juntado a Jamie con los peques

JAMIE IS NO LONGER ALONE! In July, we rescued Jamie, who was so excited to see her running through the village. She hasn't been at the Gaia Sanctuary Foundation for long, and it normally takes a year for the pigs to adapt. But Jamie is very, very good, so with her, we didn't have to wait that long. We needed the space where she was living to bring the pregnant goats we rescued there, so they could give birth peacefully and raise their babies. We made the move a week ago, but with the births, we haven't had time to share the video with you, so we're sharing it with you today. The day after we reunited Jamie with Federico, Cayetana, Nathalie, and Alix, they were all sleeping together as if they had known each other their whole lives. Normally, adjustments take a long time, but knowing Jamie and the little ones, we knew it would go well, although it's normal at first to mark each other, since pigs are very territorial. It will still be a long time before we can join the five pigs with the rest of the pigs living at the Sanctuary, but for now they're getting to know each other through the fence.
