A Morning with His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama at Sinai Temple, October 11, 1999 (edited)

As part of the World Festival of Sacred Music conceived by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Lama Dulbum Tuku invited 85 sites across Los Angeles to host concerts of sacred music not common to their particular faith group. Sinai Temple hosted Marlui Miranda, in Music of the Amazon Indigenous Tribes, and the Music of Hildegarde Von Bingen by renown vocalist Jocelyn Montgomery and Tibetan Na-wog Kachog and Chinese Musicians on the same stage. This edited Morning with His Holiness was a thank you to all who executed parts of concerts throughout Los Angeles. It was hosted by Sinai Temple and produced by Hazzan David Silverstein of Sinai Temple (seen greeting and escorting HHDalai Lama to the bema -altar) accompanied by Barbara and Joshua Silverstein, and members of the Presidential Level Secret Service and Diplomatic personnel. 2200 people were in attendance, considered by His Holiness as an intimate gathering. They heard the Shofar blast by Rabbi Mark Fasman (in circular breathing technique), and the 18 voices of the Sinai Chorale. Notable personalities seen in the video include Mayor Jimmy Delshad of Beverly Hills, then president of Sinai Temple, Victoria Principal and Kirk Douglas and others in attendance including members of over 85 faith groups and cultural centers across the wide diversity of Los Angeles.October 11, 1999.
