Yamaha R-N600A stereo receiver | Crutchfield`
The Yamaha R-N600A is the entry-level receiver in their RN series of stereo receivers, but it's no slouch. With plenty of power on tap, high-res streaming, and tons of inputs, the R-N600A gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Shop for Yamaha R-N600A at Crutchfield: https://www.crutchfield.com/i-rYTVc35... While "entry level" can mean a lot of corners are cut to trim costs, the R-N600A is more accurately described as "pared down." The core elements — amplifier, DAC, signal path — are of very high quality. They've cut the cost here by eliminating some features, (there's no HDMI input, and no YPAO capability) but not by using cheaper components. If you want a stereo receiver that can deliver lots of clean power and don't need those things, anyway, the R-N600A is a good choice. Plus you get that old-school hi-fi look, with knobs for volume and tone control, plus buttons for basic functions. Yamaha's loudness control is legendary, and helps preserve dynamics at low volumes. Pure Direct mode lets you choose the simplest signal path for pristine sound. The R-N600A is a great choice for the budding audiophile.
