However, having been designated as a water source protection zone for a long time and only recently released from regulations in late 2024, the only public amenity available is a recently constructed 2km walking trail. So, I feel a lot of inconvenience.] Yongin City plans to develop Idong Reservoir into a lake park equipped with facilities for relaxation, culture, and sports. If the current plan is realized, the area is expected to be approximately 2.4 times that of Gwanggyo Lake Park, currently the largest lake park in Korea. Over 21 kilometers of walking trails alone will be constructed.
