Ride of the Valkyries, Op.21 - Richard Wagner • The Virtuoso Pianist | •DevilSynthesia•
Big thanks to schroender for making the audio for this video :) His channel: / channel Steven_Wan: https://musescore.com/steven_wan?shar... My FB page: / devilsynthesia ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• This is my solo piano transcription of The "Ride of the Valkyries" by Richard Wagner. The original piece is placed at the beginning of act 3 of Die Walküre, the second of the four operas constituting Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen cycle. The major reason why I am transcribing this piece is that I have been a major fan of this grandiose orchestral piece for a long-time. Moreover, taking on this transcription would be an interesting challenge due to the complexity and the large number of voices in the original orchestral piece. I have put a great deal of effort in this transcription in order to fit in the orchestral effects as much as possible while keeping it under the realm of playability by the two human hands. So, I hope you will like this transcription. Anyway, please feel free to leave comments.
